The time has come....

to move over to my new blog!! From now on the blog will be linked to the website instead of Blogger. This change in sites and hosts will allow for bigger pictures of my cutie-pie clients and a more streamlined, clean blog. This blog will remain active so that people may peruse old posts or link to them as needed, but I won't be posting anymore on here, instead, everything will now be located at:

www.amyrophotography.com/blog

So if you have this blog saved or bookmarked, please update your info. :) Thank for following along and see you on the other side!

Digital Packages

All Digital Packages
I am now offering the option, to those of you interested, to do an all digital package. With these packages you receive a varying amount of digital files (1, 5, 10 or the entire session) and some offer boutique extras such as mounted prints or canvases. With each package you will receive a 5x7 print of each file ordered as well as a release for printing and advice on where to print. I will also gladly upload the photos for you to the lab I recommend to clients (Mpix) and provide instructions on how to order your own prints. The $300 print credit may be used towards the purchase of a digital package. Please note there are no substitutions on the packages and no extra prints are included besides the 5x7 print of the ordered files.

The packages are as follows:
  • Single file - $125
  • 5 files and one (1) 11x14 mounted print from your session - $500
  • 10 files and one (1) 16x20 mounted print from your session - $1000
  • Entire session of 25-30 files, one (1) 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas and two (2) 11x14 mounted prints - $1800

Online shopping

I have been meaning to post these but keep forgetting!! These are a collection of favorites of mine that specialize in handmade products. They are all run by moms that I know so I wanted to give them some press :) Not to mention that the products are beautiful!!

Bop Bop Designs - handmade painted canvases for rooms. Maggie is not only an awesome person and friend but is super creative and makes beautiful projects!

Baked By Beanie - Bernadette has a bunch of different things - including recipes and photos of delicious cookies! For those in the Philadelphia area I highly recommend using her for a cake or cookie order - her stuff is beautiful and looks delish!

Too Cute - Jessi has created some wonderful products for kids - think boutique style designs for burp cloths, taggies and pillowcases

Polka Dot Crafts - Wendy is one of my favorite clients and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She and her friend started this business and, although it doesn't appear they have anything for sale at this moment, they make adorable personalized items for kids rooms such as door signs. So cute!!

Layne's newborn session :)

I have heard that it's impossible to get good pictures of your own kid when you're a photographer. I know this to be true for Nolan - which is why there are never photos of him on here. :) But I was hoping since Layne is so new that I could work my newborn photography magic on her. And I did! I needed just 20 minutes to capture these quick shots. There is obviously something really special about newborn sessions and they are definitely my favorite, but when it's YOUR newborn I discovered it's even cooler :)

Introducing Layne Elizabeth

Well after much waiting and anticipation, we have a beautiful little baby GIRL!! Layne Elizabeth was born Monday morning at 5:45. She weighed 6 lbs 9.5 oz and was 18.25 inches long - our little peanut - and is the spitting image of Nolan when he was born. I had a very quick labor and while it was extremely painful until I got the epidural, I was fortunate in that it was very easy. We are home now and adjusting to everything. We are both doing well, just a bit tired.

All of the photos except the last were taken by one of the other residents who used to do photography. I will treasure these forever...

I will definitely be doing our own little photo shoots so stay tuned!! :)

Family time in Havertown

I squeezed in ooooone last family session for a friend of my husband's. M. is a midwife at Matt's hospital so how can you not do pictures for someone who does such a wonderful thing??? And I am *so* glad I took the session! M. and J. have the two most ADORABLE little boys, F. and D. I had so much fun taking their photos and playing with the car and the playhouse and just getting to know them!! F. has such a great little personality at 2 years old and D. is at the perfect five month old chubby deliciousness stage! M. and J. it was great to hang out with you guys and capture your family moments :) Enjoy!!

Saturday at the Grange - Havertown

I met up with the H. family and their three adorable kids last weekend for some pictures at a totally new location - the Grange Estate out in Havertown. We had a great time climbing trees (okay, the boys, not me), taking pictures of walls (see, O. - the wall picture came out pretty cool!) and walking through the leftover snow. They all did great in the cold temperatures as well!! C. and J. I had a great time meeting your family and even though trekking all over didn't send me into labor I appreciate the effort :)
